After a very intense couple months it was time to relax and take a few tropical pics of surfing, people, travel and friends. A couple weeks of surfing in Santa Catalina and Playa Venao (Panama) rounded out with a little diving, yoga and hammock time got things back in check. A little island hopping to San Andreas and Provedencia (Columbia) and a sailboat to a few empty island chains realigned the focus. Back and recharged we have started on a number of projects.

Based in Vancouver's lower east side, a group of children attend a weekly photography class at the Strathcona Community Centre. Classes will encourage children to explore photography within their community and reflect the way they see their environment. Images will be worked on and displayed in an end of year gallery exhibit. Portraits of the children will be displayed in large format around east Vancouver to raise awareness to the socio-economic challenges the children face within their community.
